Bohls Pond Repair
Project Information

This project is to reconstruct the outlet structure for the detention pond that serves the Bohls Place subdivision. The outlet structure has fallen into disrepair over time and this project will restore it to a fully functional condition. The project will also construct a concrete trickle channel to assist in fully draining the pond.

  • Restoring the detention pond as functionally intended will reduce downstream runoff flows to Wilbarger Creek.
  • The concrete trickle channel will allow for the pond bottom to dry faster and provide ease of maintenance for City maintenance crews.
Project Schedule and Status
The project was bid in June with construction starting in July. This project was completed in September 2016.
