Pflugerville Counts!
The U.S. Census counts every resident in the United States, and is required by the Constitution to take place every 10 years. The 2011 census numbers indicate 46,936 residents in Pflugerville, a 187% increase since the 2000 census. The numbers indicate trends for Pflugerville. Pflugerville's occupancy rate went from 98% to 96.2% indicating a vacancy rate increase from 2% to 4%. The recent Greenridge annexation numbers are not in the census calculation. The city still estimates that Pflugerville's population is approximately 50,000.
