1.      Call to Order.

 

2.      Citizens Communication for issues and items that do not appear on the agenda.

The Commission welcomes comment on planning and zoning items not already scheduled on tonight's agenda.  In accordance with the Texas Attorney Generals' opinion, any public comment that is made on an item that is not on the published agenda will only be heard by the Commission.  No formal action, discussion, deliberation, or comment will be made by the Commission.  Each person providing public comment will be limited to three (3) minutes and will be asked to state his or her name and address for the public record.

 

3.      Public Hearing and Consideration.

The Commission welcomes comment on the following Planning and Zoning items.  Each person providing public comment will be limited to three (3) minutes and will be asked to state his or her name and address for the public record.

 

A.  To receive public comment and consider an application to rezone approximately 3 acres of Property ID Number: 708077, an approximate 6.2-acre tract out of the Thomas G. Stewart Survey No. 6, Abstract 689 from Agriculture/Conservation (A) to General Business 1 (GB-1), to be known as the HPN-Kingston Lacy 3-Acre Tract Rezoning. (REZ-09-0070)

 

B.   To receive public comment and consider text amendments to Subchapter 5 Special Districts, Section B.5 Table 1 Permitted Uses, to permit car wash as a primary use in Urban Level 4 Zoning Districts with Special District approval, and to permit car wash use in Urban Level 5 Zoning District as an accessory use to gas pumps.

 

4.      Discuss and Consider Only.   

 

A.  Approve the minutes for the December 7, 2009 regular meeting.

 

B.   Appoint Chair, Vice Chair and Secretary to the Planning and Zoning Commission.

 

5.      Future Agenda Items.

The Planning and Zoning Commission may retire to executive session any time between the meeting opening and adjournment for the purpose of consultation with legal counsel pursuant to Chapter 551.071 of the Texas Government Code. Action, if any, will be taken in open session.
